Join us for an unforgettable trip through Iceland during the midnight sun. Iceland is one of those places that everyone dreams of visiting, and we're spending 14 days fully immersed in it. From the black sand beaches and towering waterfalls of the Ring Road, to the raw, untouched highlands only reachable by 4x4, this trip is designed to show you Iceland the way most people never get to see it. We'll all be sharing campsites in prime locations throughout Iceland. You can share a site with your travel partner, or get grouped into same gender tents unless you request otherwise. We're renting 2 group vehicles and splitting gas and cleaning fees at the end of the trip, before departure. This is a small group experience built for people who want to actually do things, not just watch from a tour bus. At each location, activities will vary by fitness level. Most attractions require walking or hiking to the site, sometimes miles long. Most of our group members will participate in both weeks. Week 1 covers the Ring Road classics. Week 2 goes deeper into the highlands on F-roads most travelers never reach. Together they make one complete Iceland experience. If you can only join for one week, reach out and we'll see what's possible. But trust us, you'll wish you stayed for both.

Iceland's weather is famously changeable — even in summer, conditions can shift from sunshine to wind, rain, or snow within hours. River levels, road access, and trail conditions can change overnight. The itinerary as shown is subject to real-time conditions, and flexibility is a core part of traveling in Iceland. If a specific location — a river crossing, an F-road section, a coastal site — is inaccessible on the day due to weather or safety, we'll adapt. This is the nature of adventurous travel, and no refund or compensation is owed for changes resulting from these circumstances.
Each participant is responsible for meeting the fitness and eligibility requirements listed on this page prior to booking. You are also responsible for obtaining all required visas, valid travel and adventure-activity insurance, and any medical clearances relevant to your health. Submitting an application and making payment constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of the terms, risks, and conditions described on this page and in the full Terms & Conditions. A note from Anna: I plan every detail of this trip with care, and your safety and experience are always my first priority. Changes to the plan — if they happen — come from a place of looking out for the group, not cutting corners. Two 4×4 vehicles: a Toyota Land Cruiser and an Ineos Grenadier, both with snorkel + roof rack, built for the F-road river crossings on the Week-2 loop. Group splits gas and cleaning fees at the end of the trip, before departure.

A 35% deposit confirms your place once you're accepted. You can pay via Revolut or Zelle — both support credit card and checking-account payments. The remaining 65% is due 70 days before the trip start date.
If you need to cancel your trip you must send written notification to contact.annaphotos@gmail.com. Once that is received, the following cancellation penalties will apply:• 60 days or more prior to departure: 50% refund minus the deposit• 59 through 0 days prior to departure: No refund
It is recommended that you purchase Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance as coverage against an unforeseen emergency that may force you to cancel or leave the expedition while it is in progress. Failure to deliver complete payment 70 days prior to the start of the expedition will be considered a cancellation by default and is subject to cancellation charges as stated above. We also reserve the right to deny participation to anyone whom it deems unsuitable for a trip.
Yes. Comprehensive travel insurance with adventure-activity coverage is required to join this trip. We strongly recommend purchasing it at the time of sign-up so pre-existing conditions are covered. Your policy should include trip cancellation / interruption, medical evacuation, and coverage for the activities on the itinerary (hiking, F-road driving, river crossings, etc.).
While we don't sell travel insurance directly, we're happy to recommend trusted agencies — just email us. We're not liable for financial loss caused by events outside our control, such as natural disasters or weather-related flight delays.
You'll also be required to sign a reservations and liability form once your spot is confirmed.
Participants joining this Iceland expedition are expected to be in sufficiently good physical and mental condition to meet the demands of the trip. The overall fitness requirement is intermediate, as the itinerary involves frequent hiking and extended time outdoors in varied and sometimes unpredictable conditions.
Many of Iceland's most rewarding locations — waterfalls, canyon viewpoints, volcanic landscapes, and highland areas — require moderate hikes ranging from 2 to 10 km (1–6 miles) at a time. Terrain can include uneven paths, loose gravel, muddy sections, and occasional elevation gain. Weather conditions (wind, rain, and colder temperatures) can also increase the physical demands.

While no technical climbing experience is required, a baseline level of endurance, stability, and mobility is essential to fully enjoy and safely complete the experience. It is the participant's responsibility to prepare accordingly prior to the trip.

We meet in Reykjavík on June 28, 2026. Details on the exact meeting point, time of day, and where to stay on arrival night will be shared once your spot is confirmed.

The trip includes a farewell group dinner. Day-to-day, we share a camp kitchen and cook group meals — budget roughly $20 per person per day if you want to opt into the optional shared group dinner.

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond our return date (July 12, 2026) — so valid through at least January 12, 2027. Check the visa requirements for Iceland based on your passport country well in advance of the trip — Iceland is in the Schengen Area.
Applications open April 27, 2026 at 9am PST. You'll hear back within 7 days either way. If your application is accepted, you'll receive a booking confirmation with instructions for the 35% deposit — your spot is reserved once the deposit clears.
